Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
* Manage the overall operations of the cosmetics manufacturing facility, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
* Oversee the production process from raw material procurement to finished product packaging, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets while minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.
* Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of productivity and quality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality control, and supply chain, to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
* Implement and maintain safety protocols, quality control procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
* Monitor production performance metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.
* Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in cosmetics manufacturing to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in cosmetics manufacturing is a plus.
* Proven experience in cosmetics manufacturing, with at least [insert number] years in a managerial or leadership role.
* Deep understanding of cosmetics manufacturing processes, including formulation, compounding, filling, and packaging.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve production goals.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cosmetics manufacturing, including FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO standards.
* Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
