Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytically skilled Strategic Finance Associate Intern to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial for supporting the company’s strategic initiatives by identifying financial opportunities and managing investor relations. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in financial markets, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial markets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Align these insights with our strategic objectives to enhance funding opportunities.
• Financing Strategies: Support the development and execution of innovative financing strategies. Assist in identifying potential investors, crafting investment proposals, and preparing detailed pitch decks tailored to investor requirements.
• Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data and industry reports to support financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in negotiating terms and managing agreements with external partners, investors, and stakeholders to secure funding and support. Ensure the company’s interests are maintained.
• Investor Relations: Maintain proactive relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors. Prepare and present regular financial updates and compliance reports to ensure transparency and trust.
• Ad Hoc Support: Undertake other tasks or responsibilities as necessary, including ad hoc financial analysis and project support.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior internship or related experience in finance or consulting is preferred.
